Skills and Experience:

• BSEE/BSME or MSEE/MSME with 10+ years of experience in commercial vehicle or automotive product development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Detailed knowledge of Electronic Hardware / Software & Supporting Infrastructure Architecture Design & Overall Development.
• Knowledge of different automotive communication protocols, standards & tools.
• Experience with tools related to software development, diagnostics, and production/aftermarket systems.
• Familiarity with global/local organizational environments with cross-functional interaction.
• Proficiency in Agile way of working & SAFe, with a good understanding of project operations.
• Knowledge of Quality Management (QMS), SFMEA, Product Quality Assurance, and Quality tools.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of architectural roadmaps for systems and functions, collaborating with stakeholders from various technology teams, component owners, solution providers, and product management.
• Lead solution development in complex product development projects, reviewing and securing approvals from internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory forums.
• Write technical reports, cross-functional specifications, and communicate effectively with stakeholders and developers.
• Propose system design concepts through embedded software specifications, electrical schematics, and block diagrams for vehicle functions related to your area of responsibility.
• Perform system architecture lead roles in cross-functional exchanges to ensure robust engineering solutions.
• Develop and anchor system evolution roadmaps for various electrical architectures.
• Coordinate activities with other departments, external and internal customers, and vendors to ensure desired deliverables.
• Participate in quality tool screening, plan and execute agreed quality tasks.

Base Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000 DOE – 10 or more years in Automotive Roles.
